Staff Engineer, Guidance and Control

Education Required:
BS in Engineering, Math, or Physics. MS in Engineering Preferred
Preferred Experience
Minimum 7 years in the field of autonomous flight vehicle guidance, navigation and control. Candidates must also have a working knowledge of associated subsystem development, requirements analysis and flowdown, generation of specification, and design verification.
MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR SECURITY CLEARANCE
Description of Duties
- Guidance, navigation, control and estimation systems design and analysis.
- Development of flight controls and guidance algorithms and models.
- Non-linear 6dof simulation and linear control analysis tool development with expertise in Monte Carlo statistical analysis techniques.
- Other duties include definition of software requirements, flight software implementation and specification, selection of guidance, navigation, and control system hardware.
- Experience in C/C++ is preferred.
- Must have the ability to work independently to develop conceptual designs within specified requirements and constraints.
- Candidates must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and able to work in a structured systems engineering environment.
